SALON 809 CLIENT INTAKE FORM POLICIES
24 HOUR REDO POLICY
At Salon 809, we strive to provide exceptional services to all of our clients. However, we understand that there may be rare occasions when adjustments are needed. To ensure your satisfaction, we offer a 24-Hour Redo Policy under the following guidelines:
- Eligibility for a Redo:
- Clients who are unsatisfied with their service are eligible for a style-only redo. If another type of service is needed the same rule will apply.
- Redo request must be made within a strict 24-hour timeframe from the date and time of the original service.
- How to Submit a Request:
- To request a redo, clients must contact Salon 809 via phone, email, or in-person within the 24-hour period.
- Requests made after the 24-hour timeframe will not be eligible for the redo policy.
- Exceptions for Closed Days:
- If your 24-hour timeframe falls on a Monday or a major holiday when the salon is closed, you may still reach out within that period via email or voicemail.
- Once your request is received and verified by management, we will set up the next available appointment to honor the redo.
- Policy Expiry:
- If no contact is made within the 24-hour period following your service, the redo policy will no longer be applicable.
Please note that all redo requests are subject to management verification and approval. The redo policy is designed to ensure prompt resolution and maintain the quality of service that Salon 809 prides itself on.

SALON 809 APPOINTMENT POLICY
At Salon 809, we strive to provide exceptional service to all of our clients. To ensure the best
possible experience, we have established the following appointment policy:
- Appointments must be scheduled at least 12 hours in advance. We do not offer same-day appointments.
- Walk-ins are accepted based on availability and the type of service requested. Please note that some extension and color services require a consultation, deposit, and appointment to book.
- Clients with pre-scheduled appointments (booked at least 12 hours in advance) are eligible for promotions and special offers. Walk-in clients and those without pre-scheduled appointments do not qualify for these promotions.
- Clients with appointments are always prioritized and will be serviced in the order of their scheduled time.
- Walk-in clients will be seen in between scheduled appointments, and in the order they arrive.
- We strongly encourage all clients to book their appointments at least 12 hours in advance to minimize wait times and ensure you are seen at your preferred time.
- Flexirods requires to be schedule 2 hours before closing time
- Certain services, including Brazilian Knot installations, require a consultation, deposit, and a pre-scheduled appointment. These services are not available for walk-ins.

At Salon 809, we are committed to providing high-quality extension services tailored to your unique style and hair goals. Please carefully review our Extension Service Policy to ensure a smooth booking experience and a successful service.
Appointment Requirements & Booking Process
- All extension services—except clip-in extensions—require a consultation, deposit, and appointment to book.
- Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Deposits secure your appointment and cover a portion of your service.
- Hair is always sold separately from your extension service.
Non-Transferable Deposits – Important Notice
It is very important to book your extension services under the name of the client who will be receiving the service — even if you are booking for a family member or friend.
- If an appointment is booked under your name and account, the deposit will be applied to your service only.
- Deposits cannot be transferred to another person, including family members or friends.
- Failure to book the appointment under the correct name will result in forfeiting the deposit, and a new deposit will be required to book under the correct client.
Hair is Sold Separately
- You may purchase high-quality hair directly from Salon 809 or bring your own.
- 1 bundle = 3.5 ounces.
- If you choose to bring your own hair, Salon 809 is not responsible for hair texture match, longevity of your install, or the final results. For the best results, we highly recommend purchasing hair from us.
Extension Services & Pricing
BRAZILIAN KNOTS
- Install starts at $600-$950, depending on the desired install.
- $200 Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable Deposit + Consultation Required to Book.
- Lasts approximately 3-4 months before needing removal.
MICROLINKS
- Weft Install starts at $550-$850.
- Single Strand Install starts at $550-$850.
- Price increases depending on the install and customization desired.
- $200 Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable Deposit + Consultation Required to Book.
- Lasts approximately 1-3 months, with maintenance appointments recommended between.
TAPE-IN EXTENSIONS
- Install starts at $325, with price increasing based on desired install.
- $100 Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable Deposit + Consultation Required to Book.
- Lasts approximately 1-2 months, with maintenance appointments recommended between.
SEW-IN EXTENSIONS
- Install starts at $280 for a 2-bundle installation.
- Each additional bundle is $50 per bundle to install.
- $80 Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable Deposit Required to Book.
- Service includes wash, braid down, and install.
- Lasts approximately 1-2 months, with maintenance appointments recommended between.
- Please Note: We do not service closures or frontals.
Important Reminders
- All extension services require a consultation and deposit to book (except clip-ins).
- Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances.
- Always book the appointment under the name of the person receiving the service.

SALON COLOR SERVICE POLICY
At Salon 809, we are committed to delivering beautiful, high-quality color services tailored to each client’s vision. To ensure the best results and a smooth experience, please review our Color Service Policy below:
Same-Day Color Services
- Root color touch-ups and full color services are available for same-day walk-ins, depending on stylist availability.
- Root touch-ups and rinse colors require clients to arrive at least one hour prior to closing.
- Full color services require clients to arrive at least one hour prior to closing.
Consultation Required for Color Services that requires Bleach
For more intricate or customized color services, a consultation is required prior to booking. This helps ensure our stylists have the necessary materials, understand your desired results, and can allocate the correct amount of time for your service. Services that require consultations include:
- Balayage
- Double Process
- Color Correction
- Highlights
During your consultation, we strongly recommend sending inspiration photos so both you and your stylist are on the same page regarding your desired outcome.
Scheduling Recommendations
- For balayage, highlights, double process and color corrections we highly recommend booking a morning appointment to allow ample time to complete your service.
- This ensures our stylists have the time and attention needed to deliver the best possible results.

CANCELLATION POLICY
At Salon 809, we understand that schedules can change and unexpected events may arise. To best serve all of our clients and our team, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Standard Appointment Cancellations
- Clients must cancel or reschedule their appointment at least 12 hours in advance.
- Clients who fail to cancel or reschedule within the required timeframe, and do not show up for their appointment, will be considered a No Call/No Show.
- No Call/No Show clients will be charged a $30 No-Show Fee. This fee must be paid before booking any future appointments.
Extension Services Cancellations
- Due to the time and preparation required for extension services, clients must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance.
- Cancellations made after the 48-hour window will result in forfeiting your deposit.
- This policy ensures that our stylists’ time is respected, and other clients have the opportunity to book during these extended service blocks.
Intricate Color Service Cancellations
- Similar to extension services, intricate color services (balayage, highlights, double process and color correction) require significant preparation and time.
- These services also require a 48-hour cancellation or rescheduling notice to avoid no show fee.
- No Call/No Show clients will be charged a $30 No-Show Fee. This fee must be paid before booking any future appointments.
Holiday Cancellation Policy
- Our cancellation policies are especially enforced during holiday periods due to high demand.
- We want to accommodate as many clients as possible during these busy times to ensure everyone looks and feels their best for the holidays.
- If you are unable to make your holiday appointment, please be sure to reschedule or cancel with at least 12 hours’ notice to avoid fees or penalties.

Salon 809 Heat Styling Disclaimer
At Salon 809, we prioritize the health and integrity of your hair. However, it is important to understand that all hair types react differently to heat, and some textures are more susceptible to changes, including alterations in curl pattern.
While we take every precaution to minimize heat exposure by using high-quality heat protectants and professional techniques, heat is necessary to achieve a smooth, straight finish. Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee how your hair will respond, as individual results vary.
Important Notes:
- If you are concerned about potential texture changes, we recommend avoiding heat styling.
- We do not use any chemicals in our services unless specifically requested and paid for by the client.
- Any claims suggesting we secretly apply chemicals are false and defamatory.
Legal Notice:
We take our reputation and commitment to integrity seriously. False accusations or defamatory statements made about our salon will result in legal action if necessary.
By choosing to receive a heat styling service at Salon 809, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with heat styling.

809 MINOR AND CHILD SAFETY POLICY
At Salon 809, the safety and comfort of our clients, staff, and guests is our top priority. In order to maintain a safe, professional, and enjoyable environment, we have established the following policy regarding minors in the salon:
Children Under 12 Years Old
- Children under the age of 12 must remain side-by-side with a parent or guardian for the entirety of their visit.
- For safety reasons, we strongly recommend that parents do not bring children under 12 who are not receiving a service.
- High-temperature equipment, sharp tools, and professional-grade chemicals are in constant use throughout the salon. Children roaming the salon or walking around unattended pose a serious safety risk to themselves, our staff, and other clients.
Minors Ages 13 to 17
- Clients between the ages of 13 and 17 must have a parent or guardian present during their entire appointment if their service is scheduled close to closing hours.
- This policy ensures both the safety of the minor and that all services are completed within Salon 809’s strict hours of operation.
Responsibility for Minors
- Salon 809 and its staff are not responsible for the supervision, care, or safety of minors while they are in the salon. Parents and guardians are fully responsible for their children at all times.
- Once a minor’s service is complete, they will be checked out and must immediately be under the direct care and supervision of their parent or guardian.
- Salon 809 staff are not responsible for supervising minors inside or outside of business hours.
- Parents or guardians must arrive on time for pickup. If a minor is left at the salon past closing, Salon 809 is not responsible for their care, and late pickups may affect the minor’s ability to book future services.
Maryland Child Safety Laws
In accordance with Maryland child safety laws, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to provide appropriate supervision for children at all times. Children may not be left unattended in a business establishment where their safety could be compromised. These laws align with Salon 809’s commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all guests.
